Bicycles on Main — knot so loud

Did you know that May is National Bicycle Month?

One of my favorite Connecticut towns, Old Wethersfield is hosting ‘Bicycles on Main’ event until May 31. It has been a month long event. I know this is late as there is only one more week of the outdoor event, I was late in getting myself there! I passed through town, so I was able to quickly stroll around Old Wethersfield to check out the bicycles. I was impressed with the creativity I saw!

The ‘Bicycles on Main’ is all outdoors lining the Main Street in Historic Old Wethersfield. Local businesses, schools, organizations and many more particpated by decorating a bicycle. The summer-like weather we’ve been having is perfect for a stroll in this very walkable community! Don’t forget that there are several restaurants, shops and businesses to check out on the Main as I previously mentioned here and here.

There will be plenty to do on Saturday May 29th, there will be a spring festival from 10am-3pm at Heirloom Market at Comstock Ferre. There will be fun for family, vegetables for sale, food & drinks and more. Heritage Day and Memorial Day ceremony will be taking place that day as well!
