CODA movie

In mid-August, there was a new movie making a splash. Apple+ released ‘CODA’ starring Marlee Matlin. The term CODA stands for Child of Deaf Adult[s] so it was a movie portraying a life of a CODA. The movie was selected to be shown in limited theaters. I was thrilled that Mystic Luxury Cinemas was one of the theaters to feature the movie.

Bicycles on Main

Did you know that May is National Bicycle Month? One of my favorite Connecticut towns, Old Wethersfield is hosting ‘Bicycles on Main’ event until May 31. It has been a month long event. I know this is late as there is only one more week of the outdoor event, I was late in getting myself there! I passed through town, so I was able to quickly stroll around Old Wethersfield to check out the bicycles.

Grateful

Happy Thanksgiving! I thought I’d check in and say hello! I know it’s been a while since the last blog but I have been feeling unmotivated. It’s tough to write about traveling around New England with the COVID-19 rules constantly changing. Thanksgiving is usually the time to be with family and friends. Unfortunately, my family isn’t in same state so we are spending the holidays in our own households. 2020 has been tough on many of us, but I got to thinking about what I am grateful for and thought I’d share some.
